That Boy Has No Shoes
★★★★ 'Thought-provoking' - The Reviews Hub
★★★★ 'An excellent work of art' - A Young(ish) Perspective
★★★★ 'Instructive, moving and horrific' - Everything Theatre
This ‘immersive and emotional’ performance reflects on the horrors of Apartheid from the perspective of an axe, an eviction notice, a passbook, and a camera who appear onstage to tell stories of the events they witnessed. The result is ‘compelling’ and ‘powerful’.
Following on from a four-star run at The Camden Fringe 2024, THAT BOY HAS NO SHOES joined Voila! Theatre Festival 2024. The work will tour South Africa in 2025.
